Bandits have invaded Yantumaki Town of Danmusa LGA of Katsina State at around 12:06am on 1/6/2020 and killed the District Head of Yantumaki Alhaji Abubakar Atiku Maidabino.
The bandits after accomplishing their evil mission, left the community without launching attack on other houses within the area.
“The bandits came in their numbers and went straight to the house of the District Head, Alhaji Abubakar Atiku Maidabino, and shot him dead. They also injured his security guard.
“After they killed the district Head, they enter their motorcycles and left immediately without touching or injuring anybody.
This is coming barely 48 hours after the bandits massacred the Batsari Local Government Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Abdulhamid Sani, at his residence in Sabon-Garin Dumburawa.
The Chairman of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Batsari Local government of Katsina state, Abdulhamid Sani Ruma was killed in his village on Sunday. Ruma was said to have travelled to his village, Sabon Garin Dunburawa, to attend to some family matters.
He was shot multiple times while in the village. Sources say the assailants came from a forest, on a motorcycle and opened fire killing him on the spot.
His corpse, was later brought to the Batsari General hospital, where he was confirmed dead on arrival by medical personnel.
