Borno state Governor, Professor Babagana Umara Zulum has donated N5m to Borno Sickle Cell Care Foundation, an organization belonging to people suffering from the sickle cell disease.
The Governor announced the donation on Monday when he received the leadership of the foundation at the Government house.
Borno Sickle Cell Care Foundation was established in January 2019, an association for the like minds youth who are patients of sickle cell disease in Borno State.
Speaking on behalf of the delegation, the Chairman of the foundation has presented 5 demands which the Governor promised to look into.
The Governor was presented with an award of excellence, for his outstanding performance since assumption of office in May 2019.
