President Muhammadu Buhari of Nigeria is scheduled to propose the 2022 budget to the National Assembly on Thursday, October 7th in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory.
The President is expected to present the 2022 budget to a joint plenary of both chambers of the Senate and the Federal House of Representatives.
Hon Ovie Omo-Agege, Nigeria’s Deputy Senate President, announced on Tuesday, October 5th, while presiding over a plenary before the senate,
However, the President had earlier presented the amended 2022-2024 Medium-Term Expenditure (MTEF), and Fiscal Strategy Paper (FSP) before the Senate for consideration.
