The match was held at the Manchester United stadium at Old Trafford in the English city of Manchester where Liverpool thrashes Manchester United.
Naby Keita scored Liverpool’s first goal at Old Trafford just five minutes into the game. In the 13th minute of the game, Diogo Jota made it two for Liverpool, leaving United struggling.
Salah enters the fray, delivering a stellar performance and adding to United’s woes with a brilliant goal in the 38th minute. He made it four for the visitors just before the halftime break, effectively ending United’s chances of a comeback.
After kicking the wrong ball around a Liverpool player’s crotch, Ronaldo avoided a red card, but Paul Pogba did not have the same luck. He was sent off in the 60th minute, 15 minutes after entering the game, following a hard tackle on Liverpool midfielder Naby Keita, who was otherwise outstanding.
Liverpool is still in second place in the EPL table, behind Champions League champions Chelsea, with 21 points from nine games, while United has slid to seventh place with 14 points from nine games.
