Niger Northcentral Nigeria: Report coming from Niger State that, some unknown gunmen suspected to be kidnappers, has kidnapped Niger State commissioner of information, Alhaji Muhammed Sanni Idris
Daily Episode Learnt that Muhammed was kidnapped at his home town Baban Tunga in the Tafa local government area of the state, in the early hours of Monday.
Niger state Secretary to the Government, Alhaji Ahmed Ibrahim Matane, confirmed the incident while stating that the commissioner was abducted around 1 am.
Ahmed further assures security personnel has launched a manhunt of the kidnappers as he hopes the commissioner will regain freedom.
