With the rise of the activities of thuggery by suspected hoodlums popularly known as Yan Sara Suka, who are terrorizing Kaduna State while threatening the lives of citizens by killings, stealing, and snatching phones
The Kaduna state command of the Nigerian police has raided gangs of criminals and their hideouts, which led to the arrest of over 350 Yan Sara Suka and several other criminals operating within the state metropolis and environs for their mission to curtail crimes while instilling hope for the peaceful living among citizens.
The raid aims to end atrocities committed against innocent citizens by criminals whose significant crimes include killing, stealing, and snatching phones, consuming illicit drugs, and threatening the lives of citizens.
However, while addressing journalists in Kaduna, the police public relations officer, Mohammed Jalinge, revealed that mobile phones, motorcycles, vehicles, various weapons, and over 1700 kg of Indian hemp were recovered during the raid and arrest of the suspects.
Earlier, the Kaduna State Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs revealed that criminals terrorizing the state will be arrested and prosecuted to maintain law and order in the state.
While some of the suspects who regretted their actions also advised the youth to distance themselves from any form of crime and violence that could endanger their lives and those of innocent citizens,
