The national security adviser Major-General Babagana Monguno (retd.) has been placed under the investigations list by the Arewa youth assembly.
Monguno was label among the high-ranking Nigerians threatening the life of Abdulrashid Bawa, The chairman of the economic and financial crime commission EFCC.
This is contained in a statement issued by the Arewa youth Assembly speaker, Muhammadu Salihu Danlami to newsmen at a press conference at Arewa house Kaduna.
Muhammed noted that the allegation pointing to the national security adviser as one of the people going after Bawa’s life is trending on social media and they are carefully investigating the matter.
We are ready to occupy the NSA office in mass protest and force Mungono to either voluntarily resign or ask president Muhammadu Buhari to sack him he said.
Adding that such sabotage shouldn’t happen in president Muhammadu Buhari’s administration.
Recall that the anti-graft agency chairman, Abdurashid Bawa alleged some high-ranking Nigerians are going after his life.
