Gallant men of the Nigerian police have succeeded in parading a suspected bread supplier in Kaduna state.
The suspect who specializes in supplying bread to bandits terrorizing Birin Gwari-Kaduna expressway was arrested by Force intelligence Response Team, IRT lead by Deputy Commissioner of Police, Abba Kyari.
The suspect confesses to having been supplying bread to bandits at Galadimawa, Damari, Kidandan, and Awala camps and led the operatives to the bread factory where 150 loaves of bread were recovered.
Hassan Magaji, a resident of Galadimawa village is, married with two wives and three children.
Upon arranging to sell to the bandits, They started with N20,000 worth of bread and gradually increased to N50,000 a day. After deducting the cost of ingredients, I make as much as N150,000 in a week.
Hassan further narrates that they have a meeting point close to the bandit’s hideout because he’s not allowed to enter inside the bush. It is not even accessible by car. They don’t threaten me because we mind our business.
The only solution to end the banditry is for government to recruit more securiy men. We prefer the police because they know the job.
