As the number of women seeking marriage separation grows globally, a celebrity American rapper, Cardi B, cries for her husband, “Offset, to delay signing papers for the divorce she has initially initiated to end their six-year marriage.
Cardi B, who narrates the experience on her personal X handle in a live broadcast, revealed that her husband failed to prioritise buying presents for their children, despite his promise of taking responsibility to meet the family need.
The rapper alleges to have known the husband is making efforts to settle all disputes with her by using their children as a cover, which, according to her, is hypocrisy on display; hence the husband, Offset, has in recent times bought gifts for his other children while neglecting theirs.
To further emphasise his lack of involvement in their family lives, she revealed that he had only called their daughter once that year.
Her comments reflect the ongoing tensions in their relationship and the strain on their family dynamics.
In her comments, she said, “Offset had only called their daughter once in 2025.
I don’t like having an affair with double-sided people when I’m at peace; I like true commitment, not that someone will show care publicly and do otherwise behind the scenes. Imagine Offset calling out his daughter for the first time this year, a newborn baby in that regard.
You claimed to love our children while you sidelined them in buying Christmas gifts. I am aware you travelled to New York and purchased gifts for your other kids. Hey, then stop playing me and sign the divorce papers.
You can’t use our kids to win my affection because these are the same kids you’ve neglected and didn’t buy Christmas gifts for, Cardi angrily says.
