Amid rising deaths in Nigeria, the Nigerian Center for Disease Control (NCDC) has revealed a new number of Covid-19 pandemic infections.
Nineteen more people died as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, bringing the total number of deaths to 2,742.
However, the number of new infections has increased to 290 across fourteen states, including the Federal Capital Territory of Abuja, for a total of 207,210 infections, a Nigerian high.
The Confirmed New Cases of Covid-19 Pandemic Breakdown
With a total of 127 infections, Abuja, Nigeria’s capital territory, leads the way, followed by Nigeria’s second most populated state from the southwest region Lagos with 45 infections, Kaduna from the northwest region with 28 infections, Delta state from the south-south with 18 infections, and Kwara from the north-central with 17 infections.
Plateau state in the northcentral also has 13 infections, Zamfara state in the northwest has 10 infections, River state in the south-south region has 8 infections, Ekiti state in the southwest has several 5 infections, and Nasarawa state in the northcentral has 5 confirmed new cases,
Edo State in the south-south region had 3 infections, Edo and Akwa Ibom State in the south-south region had 3 infections, and Oyo state in the southwest had one infection.
