2023: It Is Time For Forgiveness, Peace, Unity—Danlami
Speaker of the Arewa Youth Assembly, Muhammad Salihu Danlami, has called for calm, forgiveness, and unity among Nigerians.
Salihu, who made the call while giving a speech on his birthday, noted that, following the aftermath of the 2023 presidential elections, disunity has grown among Nigerian citizens after the emergence of Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the All Progressive Congress (APC), the country’s ruling party.
According to him, it is time for healing, forgiveness, and focusing on the progress of Nigeria and Nigerians. God has chosen them, so every individual should work toward improving themselves and the country.
I know it is difficult to bear any loss, especially in any life contest, but we have to accept what destiny has given us. On my part, I am a human, which may have wronged people knowingly or not, but I have forgiven everyone and wish everyone would also forgive me. He said.
He also prayed that the Almighty would help every Nigerian in their struggle and that peace and stability would last until the end of time.
It will be recalled that the president-elect, Bola Tinibu, has also sued for peace while calling on every aggrieved Nigerian, especially the opposition, to engage in dialogue and work towards development and unity amongst Nigerians.
