The Nigerian police operatives have on Friday raided the camp of the Eastern Security Network (ESN), the Biafra agitators group popularly know ass IPOB in Imo state.
Unspecified numbered of the militia wing were neutralized while six others were arrested during the raid which took place at Atta, Izombe, and Ideato North areas of Imo State.
Daily Episode learned that operatives of the Intelligence Response Team (IRT), Special Tactical Squad (STS) in collaboration with Anti-Kidnapping Unit (AKU) carried out the operations that lead to the killing, and destroying three camps allegedly belonging to IPOB/ESN.
According to The Nation, a commander of the group who was earlier arrested led the operatives to the camps where several weapons, stolen vehicles, explosives, gun powders, charms, weed, ammunition, hard drugs, and the group’s flags were recovered.
