Olamide Arrested For Drug Trafficking By Indian Police.
A Nigerian citizen, identified as Danel Ayotunde Olamide, has been arrested by Hyderabad police in India over drug trafficking.
According to the report, Olamide traveled to India as a student in 2014 and ventured into drug trafficking after being introduced by a Nigerian citizen known as John Paul.
However, the suspect was apprehended on October 2nd by the police and was found with a narcotic substance (cocaine) of about 04 grams and one Honda activia in his possession.
Olamide was also found guilty of supplying cocaine to his customers in the cities of Hyderabad and Cyberabad.
Daily Episode gathered that Olamide was earlier arrested alongside his mentor, Mr. John Paul, by Langarhouse police in Idia for drug supply-related issues and was released on bail.
Investigations are still ongoing regarding the arrest of the suspect while the Nigerian embassy are yet to comment on the issue.
