The Nigerian labour congress suspends the five days warning strike in kaduna.
Addressing journalist in Kaduna, the national leader of the organized labour, Comrade Ayuba Waba disclose to newsmen in Kaduna.
The union suspended the strike by a decision of the national executive council of the union who engage in dialogue and honor the invitations of federal governments to negotiate and resolve the issue as stated. Thursday in Abuja.
Recall that the labour union engage in five days warning strike and protest in Kaduna over allege mass sacking of workers by the Kaduna state governments.
The actions which lead to total shutdown of activities in the state have resulted a dispute between the state governments and the organized labour.
The protest
The peaceful protest lead by the national president, Comrade Ayuba Waba began Monday 17 May 20, 2021 from the labour secretariat to laggard hall, The Kaduna state house of assembly chamber. The union was received by any member of the state house of assembly or governments officials.
The national chairman and other’s stage out and later address the group, lamented their grievances, although Kaduna state governor Malam Nasir Ahmed El-rufai declared Mr. Waba wanted in the state but the organized labour debunk the news, protested and converge peacefully.
The second day

The 3rd Day
Women and youth stormed Kaduna in a solidarity support to the governments and demanding the labour union to suspend the strike action.
But some women disclose to newsmen that, they were invited in the name of palliatives not knowing the mission is to protest in support of the government without even been paid.
There was arrest of thugs with sophisticated weapons as claim by the leaderships of the labour union.
Daily Episode also gathered that, Civil servants in Kaduna state report to work in fear of disengagements.
But the labour union protested from the secretariat to state secretariat for security reason.
The organized labour later call off the strike actions some hours after the protest.
Recall that the Minister of Labour and Employment, Senator Chris Ngige on Wednesday invited El-Rufai and top officials of the state, as well as Wabba and top labour leaders to an emergency meeting.
The minister further directed that the two parties maintained the status quo pending the resolution of the issues in contention.
