Katsina Emirate council suspends Samir as Sanyinan Katsina
Katsina emirate council has announced the suspension of Alhaji Samir Isma’ila Musawa as Sanyinan Katsina.
The suspension of the embattled traditional title holder was contained in a statement signed and made available to newsmen by the secretary to the emirate council, Alhaji Bello M. Iffo ( Sarkin Yakin Katsina).
The statement reads in part “Katsina emirate council has directed me to write on the suspension of Alhaji Samir Isma’ila Musawa as Sanyinan Katsina”
However, the suspension letter was silent on the reasons for the suspension.
Blueinknews however gathered that the suspension of Alhaji Samir may not be unconnected with a viral audio where the embattled Samir was heard disparaging the character of some prominent persons in the state.
Samir has since denied making such disparaging statement against the affected persons.
