Kano Road Traffic Agency, (KAROTA) in its effort to contribute quota against substandard and consumption of unhealthy commodities in the state, has impounded over 40 bags of expired powdered milk worth N3.5 Million Naira.
According to a statement issued by KAROTA Public Relations Officer, Nabilusi Abubakar Kofar-Na’isa on Friday and made available on Friday to pressmen, said members of KAROTA raided an uncompleted building at Zabi-Kafa, Bachirawa, Ungogo Local Government Area of Kano state after the agency was tipped off about activities of some persons suspected to be the owners of the milk who operate in the said building.
Alhaji Kofar-Na’isa, however, disclosed that the dairy product named, ‘Sierolat’ upon examination was believed to have expired over 20 months ago but the unscrupulous businessman, one Alh.
