The death of the Medical Director of General Hospital Mani, Dr. Kabir Tijjani has been announced on Tuesday evening.
The Doctor was said to have died as a result of complications arising from the dreaded COVID-19 viral infection.
He had since been buried under strict medical supervision based on the global best practices in Katsina.
Recall that the medical Doctor was diagnosed with the viral infection earlier and had been moved in to one of the state’s treatment centers.
Recall also that no fewer than 205 cases of the Covid-19 infection were reported in Katsina State as at 11th May, 2020.
