Christmas : NUJ Kaduna Council Urge Christians To Pray For Peaceful Coexistence In Nigeria
The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Kaduna council has urged Christians to use the occasion of Christmas for sober reflection and offer prayers to God to bring to an end various challenges bedeviling the State and the Nation at large.
This was contained in a Christmas Message jointly signed by the Council Chairman, Hajiya Asma’u Yawo Halilu and the Secretary, Gambo Santos Sanga.
According to the Statement, the significance of Christmas cannot be over-emphasized, hence the need for peaceful coexistence with other faithful for societal growth and development.
The Council also implored journalists working in the state to exhibit high moral standards in their conduct and objective in their reportage.
While commending the Kaduna State Government for being proactive, particularly in its quest to rid the state of armed banditry and kidnapping, they noted that the renewed approach by the Government is yielding positive results.
The Council further prayed for a prosperous 2022 for all Nigerians.
