The eNaira wallet for iOS/iPhone is now available in the Google Play Store.
The Nigerian president, Muhammadu Buhari, has unveiled and launched the Nigerian digital currency pair in Abuja today, September 25th, 2021.
The digital currency is now online and accessible for download, placing Nigeria in the lead as Africa’s first nation with a functioning CBDC.
This is coming barely after a month of postponement by the country’s apex bank, the Central bank of Nigeria.
The eNaira fast wallet is now available for iPhone and Android users and can download it from the website.
How to Register
To sign up for the eNaira speed wallet, you must enter your First Name, Last Name, Date of Birth, State of Origin, and Email, which were captured during your BVN enrollment, according to the apex bank.
Your banks will assist you in validating and updating your BVN information to ensure a smooth transition to the eNaira platform.
