A military aircraft caring chief of army staff crashed in Kaduna international airport today evening.
Daily Episode reliably gathered that, Chief of Army Staff, Lt General Ibrahim Attahiru died on the scene.
The commissioner and chief executive officer of the accidents and investigations bureau, Nigeria, Akin Olateru confirmed the death of the army chief to newsmen.
The Nigerian Airforce also confirmed the incidents on their official twitter handle.
An air crash involving a @NigAirForce aircraft occurred this evening near the Kaduna International Airport. The immediate cause of the crash is still being ascertained. More details to follow soon.
