I had often mused about Bill Gates’ religious inclination – for good measure. And this is very important. Because as ‘knowledge’ or the lack of it thereof may take to, or sway from God, so may the absence or presence of God-consciousness engender a proclivity for evil or for good, as the case may be.
If the mere absence of ‘awe’ for God even in God-believing hearts may educe beastliness in otherwise humane man, how much more evil then may gush forth from proudly God-doubting agnostics or worse even from God-denying atheists, both of whom now masquerade as ‘good’-loving so called ‘humanists’ to de-campaign religion
The fear is that non-God-conscious men are more likely to harm humanity without any foreboding than God-conscious, even if no-God fearing, men may. Evil, God-believing men for their fickle God-consciousness may shudder to harm humanity.
Evil, godless men are incapable of remorse. Those who are godless have neither forbearance of the vicissitude of life nor the rectitude to worry about the retribution of a non-existent God. Not in the ‘here-and-now’, not ever at some uncertain time in the ‘hereafter’.
Such a world, of men without God-consciousness is bound to embolden wrongdoers even as it is sure to take the determination out of intending do-gooders. This is notwithstanding humanistic atheism’s claim that ‘goodness’, like ‘virtue’ may be appreciated too as ‘its own reward’.
But truth is, as there may be atheistic do-gooders not necessarily motivated by the need to seek the pleasure of a recompensing higher power, so may there also be atheistic evil-doers emboldened by godlessness ironically to want to play God themselves.
And so my attempt at putting a finger on Bill Gate’s religious inclination revealed, somewhat, a spiritually inconstant soul hewed from many diametrically-opposed dogmas: at once he strikes you as an atheist still doubtfully hanging on to the rope of agnosticism, even though by his own confession, Gates occasionally nibbles at Buddhist-mysticism through meditation in which he claims to find inner peace.
Plus, he has also admitted that from time to time, he is not spiritually averse to helping his wife Melinda with the kids to the Catholic Mass on Sunday –even though he said, he probably should be doing something better.
And so, of metaphysical and otherworldly matters, Bill Gates has made it clear, even to probing journalists, that because he does not “have any evidence” for or against the existence of a higher power, he should not do himself the injustice of allowing others to bother him about belief or unbelief or about the souls or soullessness.
And so as a consequence of my quest to know Bill Gates’ godliness or godlessness, I should be plain-dealing-villain enough to call the man what I think he truly is, namely, a confused agnostic-atheist, rather than in attempting to be an “honest flattering man”; I end up shrouding his obvious irreligion in the garb of ‘nominal Christianity’ or ‘freethinking asceticism’.
And that being the case, it is safe therefore to assume that in Bill Gates, the world is virtually dealing –as has been alleged- the anti-Christ himself or at the very least the manifestation the Gog-Magog of the end-time prophesy.
His actual motivation for deploying $38 billion to help humanity, we can only hazard a guesses or two at: either he is truly a self-willed atheistic do-gooder helping humanity without expecting anything in return, or, like all atheists, agnostics and so called humanists, he is a decoy for reshaping humanity away from God-consciousness to a hedonistic, godless world of genetically-modified and or technologically-enchained humans beholding to ‘factual science’ rather than to a ‘fictional’ meddlesomely-interloping God.
And so not being a Christian in the true sense of it, we are dealing with a philanthropic Bill Gates who is in it neither to the glory, nor for the pleasure, of a retributive God who punishes sin, or even a recompensing one who rewards good deeds.
We may be dealing with a pretentiously charitable Gates who is in it for the expediency of an existential ‘god of science’ that he is not only dogmatically beholding to, but practically reliant on to ‘save’ humanity from itself by radically ridding it of its hedgy, ‘self-harming’ human overgrowth.
And herein lies the problem. This bizarre white man’s craze about doing ‘whatever is necessary’ to make the earth endure and to make the human species in it prevail and abide ‘forever’.
And if man will not wilfully zip-up to warrant the depopulation of the world, he probably should be made to do so even if in less than ethically or morally-correct way.
And so in wealth, if not by might, it is taking a Bill Gates to fund and to execute this ‘dirty job’, and by so doing hopefully to etch his name in a one-hero-only future museum as the defender and ‘guardian angel’ of a world that was about to self-destruct, but which he singlehandedly saved. Don’t get me wrong.
I have no problem with population control. But if the world’s population needs some adjusting, shouldn’t the entire world ‘democratically’ figure how to go about it, rather than a few God-repudiating, irreligious men motivated by hero-worship?
Only the white man works hard even if for absolutely no present gain; provided that he creates a future in which, long after he is no more, hopefully he may be hero-worshipped.
And so, it is naïve to ask: ‘what does Bill Gates stand to gain by machinating to depopulate the world?’ To secure a future in which he may be remembered as the selfless white guy who renounced the pleasures of the world to help preserve the earth for his more adaptively superior white kinsfolk.
It is the only reasonable way to explain the Spartan, no-fun, all-work-and-no-play life of a stubbornly-charitable, desperately philanthropic multi-billionaire who takes no delight in the mundane goodies of a hedonistically capitalist world, even though he more than has the wherewithal. Do not tell me what Bill Gates does for a living! Tell me what Bill Gates does to live!
At the risk of lending credence to apocalypticists’ genuine –maybe unfounded- fear, of an end-time ‘mark of the beast’, Gates, even as he has severally denied a depopulation agenda, at least he has also openly admitted being concerned about the need to control global population.
Plus he has not denied the vision of digitally certified members of the human species by some kind of ‘global ID’ funded presently as ‘the Gates ID2020’. This is not only intended to digitally certify, but ultimately also, to track and to control the world’s population.
Welcome to George Orwell’s 71-year old prophetic novel ‘Nineteen Eighty Four’ (1984). Many worry that no matter the altruistic benevolence of Gates’ intention about population control, it should worry the world that a few largely irreligious so-called defenders of the human race should arrogate to themselves such power, to remote-control the human kind.
They say that although they do not believe the ‘conspiracy theory’ that Gates’ dream-vaccine is the ultimate ‘mark of the beast itself’, they believe that it is the prelude to the eventual ‘chipping’ of individuals not only for the purpose of tracking but more worrisomely for what a concerned American pastor referred to as ‘mood and mind altering’.
And true to that allegation, a video is in circulation currently –whether fake or real- featuring Bill Gates in a leaked 2005 secret session briefing the CIA about “a planned viral outbreak that would be followed up by a vaccination program” to deliver a “genetic modification chemical that would modify the central brain of religious fanatics” in order to reduce the influence of belief in the instrumentation of a higher power in the lives of people.
Conspiracy theory? Maybe yes, maybe not! But as the Hausas would say, ‘da rashin kira karen maguzawa ke 6acewa’ –the dog that will not heed the call of the master….!
