Following the offensive killings, kidnappings, and ransacking of villages in northern Nigeria by terrorist groups dominated by Fulani militia, better known as armed bandits,
Daily Episode gathered that several people were kidnapped in an attack launch on Thursday by the terrorist groups on Tudun Amada community in the Giwa local government area of Kaduna state.
According to a report by the Nigerian Tribune, no fewer than 14 people were kidnapped while observing Isah’s prayer in the mosque.
After succeeding in the mission, they went further to search house to house, where scores of women and children were also kidnapped.
An eyewitness recounts how the bandits, numbering more than 50, invaded their village on motorcycles, shooting sporadically to scare the villagers while targeting compliance from the kidnapped victims.
However, only four of the abducted victims regain freedom, while others remain captive until a ransom is negotiated or dully paid.
Remember that the terrorist group massacred Riheya villagers on December 19, 2021, and that more than 180 Almajiri went missing as a result of the attack.
Tragic Accounts of Women Kidnapped Victims
Many reports prove that the terrorist abused women recklessly while negotiating a ransom with the family.
However, some women survive with injuries to their private parts, while some lose their lives to torture for denying or rejecting being raped.
Accounts of women who have regained their freedom are always frightening and traumatic, as terrorist groups always recruit locals to further the crime, as kidnapping has become one of the fastest-growing and most lucrative organized crimes in northern Nigeria.
While publishing this story, authorities of the Kaduna state police command are yet to comment or confirm the attack.
