Army offers free medical services to thousands of civilians in Kaduna
Kaduna, Northwest Nigeria: For many decades, The Nigerian army has been known on the battlefield, fighting the insurgency and criminals in a bid to restore peace in the country. Unlike the usual time, over 1,000 residents of Rigasa, in the Igabi local government area of Kaduna state benefited from free medical outreach organized by 1 Division of the Nigerian Army.
As part of the activities lined up to mark the 2021 Nigerian Army celebration week, residents of Rigasa benefited from the free medical outreach by the Nigerian army.
The outreach aims to improve the health of the people and foster better relationships between the military and civilians in the community.
The residents turned in mass as medical facilities were available to treat thousands of patients suffering from different illnesses.
Mothers, fathers, and children were among the major beneficiaries of the free medical services
Captain AJ Ogbole also delivered a lecture, titled health talk on substance abuse, He, therefore, call on people to disassociate themself from consuming hard drugs and other related intoxicating Liquors Because it contributes to memory loss and a lack of concentration.
The beneficiaries enjoy all facilities provided at the event.
The district head of Rigasa Arc. Muhammad Aminu Idris ( Dangaladiman Zazzau ) appreciates the Nigerian army’s efforts and solicits more services to the community.
The GOC also donated a borehole to the Rigasa general hospital, Mrs. Maryam A Apanpa, The medical director thanked the chief of army staff, the GOC, and the Nigerian army, for the tremendous support.
