Bandits have reportedly abducted the All Progressives Congress’ chairman for Dantankari ‘A’ ward in Dandume Local Government Area of Katsina State.
According to residents, the gunmen also abducted a woman and her stepson along with the ward chairman.

It was learnt that the gunmen stormed the town on Thursday night and abducted the party Chairman simply identified as Alhaji Safiu Dantankari.
The names of the other two victims could not be ascertained as of the time of filing this report.
The whereabouts of the three victims are still unknown.
The spokesman for the Katsina State Police Command, Gambo Isah, has yet to respond to telephone calls and the text messages sent to him as at noon on Sunday.
