The Nigeria Hotel Association (NHA) Kaduna Chapter has elected new state executive members that will steer the affairs of the association for a period of two years, a single term.
The newly elected chairman, Bar. Yusuf Ajibola, has promised to use his leadership to promote the interests of hotel owners and tourism-related enterprises in Kaduna State.
Ajibola asserted this at the weekend in Kaduna while fielding questions from journalists shortly after the inauguration of the newly elected officers.
According to him, “These executives will work together to achieve the Nigeria Hotel Association’s objectives, including promoting the interests of hotel owners, exchanging information, and protecting the industry’s interests in the state.”
The newly elected chairman urged the Kaduna state government to put into consideration the provision of a special layout for the development of the hospitality industry hub in the state.
“We believe that the development of a hospitality industry hub would be a valuable addition to Kaduna State’s tourism and economic development initiatives.
This is just as Ajibola said that the initiative would be similar to the concept of a film village or the entertainment and tourism hubs found in cities like Las Vegas if considered.
Meanwhile, the leadership of the association has reiterated its readiness for partnership towards the economic development of the state.
